BARR Palm Beach Gardens - Yvonne Bobby Lazarus Barr, 76, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away in her sleep early Tuesday, May 9, 2006. Born in Norfolk, Virginia she was the daughter of Frank and Augusta Lazarus. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack G. Barr; her children, Mark, susan, Jeffrey and Lisa. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Matthew, Noah, Ana, Rachel, Josh and Rebecca Barr. She is survived by brother in law Melvin Barr and wife Helen Jane Barr; their two children Burt and Patsy; Henry and Sioux and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins too many to list. She loved her many friends like family and leaves many special friends and extended family. She graduated from Maury High School and attended the Norfolk Division of the College of William and Mary. Her community involvement over the last 25 years centers around Beth Sholom Home of Eastern Virginia. She and her numerous friends and family were instrumental in founding the Home located in Chesapeake, Virginia. A memorial service will be held at Temple Beth Am , Jupiter, FL, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 18, 2006. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beth Sholom Home, Beth Am Temple, or Hospice of Palm Beach County.
