ABRAHAM MARKOFF PHILADELPHIA TEACHER, 91 Abraham Markoff , 91, who taught day and evening classes in the city public schools for 49 years, died of respiratory failure Tuesday at Bright Field, Lansdale, Montgomery County. He lived in the Northeast. Mr. Markoff began teaching in 1925 while attending the University of Pennsylvania. He received his college degree in 1927. He taught at several schools, including 30 years at Wagner Junior High School in West Oak Lane and more than 25 years of evening classes at Mastbaum Vocational School. He retired in 1972. Surviving are daughters, Elaine Schwartz, Lorraine Levin and Sheila Hobday; two sisters; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Montefiore Cemetery, Fox Chase.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Service Thurs. 2 PM Montefiore Cem. (Sec. 16), Church Rd. and Borbeck St., Fox Chase.
