May Crowetz, 92, great-grandmother of 3 LAKE CITY, Fla. - May Crowetz, 92, died Friday (May 23, 2003) at Caring Hearts Facility in Lake City, Fla. Mrs. Crowetz was born in Vermont to Isadore and Ida (Gordon) Mandell. May lived in Plainfield and Toms River before residing in Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Nathan Crowetz in 1978. She is survived by her son, Irving Crowetz of Lake City, Fla.; her daughter, Yetta Rubinstein of Columbia, S.C.; a brother, Louis Mandell of Martinsville; three sisters, Ruth Treffinger of Toms River, Freda Ganslar of Baltimore, Md. and Eva Mirinov of New Brunswick; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Higgins Home For Funerals, 209 W. Eighth St., Plainfield, with Rabbi Moshe Samber officiating. Interment will be in Hebrew Cemetery, South Plainfield.
