A descendent of Simon Buckner recalled that he had a sister Rachel, who may have married Saul Silverman. In fact her married name was Swartzberg. Rachel Buckner Swartzberg is buried at Hebrew Friendship Cemetery with Simon Buckner, Her gravestone says she died June 12, 1938 and reads "mother." Cemetery records state that perpetual care for Rachel Schwartzberg's grave [note spelling] was paid by Mrs. A. H. Burnstein of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Mrs. Edna L. Schwartzberg of Baltimore. HFC. |

Lists Simon (Solomon) and Esther (Schina Esther) as both being 35. List Simon as 11, Rachel as 7, and Abram as 3. Also list Lena (which was Solomon's younger sister) as boarder and age is 16. |
