1900 census. The year of her birth is given as 1888, but her age is 17 years and she is listed between Rose and Lydia. She is a student. The index for birth certificates from the City of Baltimore states that a child was born to Louis and Belle Buckner on May 23, 1883. The Baltimore City Directory for 1905 has an entry for Minnie T. Buckner, teacher, 1630 e Balto. This is the address of her father Louis as well. Minnie Hollander is the informant for the death certificate of Louis Buckner, and lived a few doors away from Louis at 2237 Linden Avenue. Files at Hebrew Friendship Cemetery list Mrs. Louis Hollander as the recipient of mail for the Louis Buckner estate, and for this reason I have assumed Minnie's husband was named Louis. Minnie Hollander is also listed as a survivor at the time of her father's death, along with two of his grandsons, Mark B. Hollander, and Asher Hollander. Jewish Times, January 31, 1936 (JHS).
