1.4.4 Lydia Buckner, b. August 20, 1885 in Baltimore; m. Oliner. The Jewish Times did print a notice of Louis’ death. JHS. This notice, and the undertaker’s notes, indicate that Louis was then married to Frances, who must be his second wife. The Jewish Times on January 31, 1936 death notice reads: Louis Buckner, husband of Frances (nee Levy), d. 1/23 at 78y. Survived by wife and seven children: Dr. Harry E., Jacob, Alexander, Julius, Rose Goodman of Pittsburgh, Minnie Hollander, Lydia Oliner, and 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Six oldest grandsons: Mark B. Hollander, David Buckner, Hilliard Goodman, Melvin Buckner, Asher Hollander, Gerald Buckner. Bur. Hebrew Friendship.” Herbert Robinson, a grandnephew of Louis, recalled a Frances Buckner, mother of Norman Kal. DH: email January 23, 2002.
