Source	Personal Conversations and Correspondence Text: William, Morris, and Hymie all worked for the Blums Department Store in Baltimore. William started working there when he was around 13 years old, and at 33, Mr. Blum moved him up in the company to management, but since all the clientele were gentile, it was felt the name Kravitz was too jewish. So William legally changed his name to Phillips. It would appear that Morris did the same.

Services at Sol Levinson and Bros. Home, 6010 Relsterstown road (at Pinkney), on Tuesday, November 14, at 1 P.M. (Enter parking courts through Pinkney road). Interment Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Cemetery, 2100 Belair road. [Please omit flowers]. In mourning at 4007 Chatham road. Also 6707 Western Run drive.
