BUCKNER - On March 1, 1945, in Germany, SOLOMON, beloved husband of Elizabeth Buckner and son of Jennie and the late Israel Buckner and brother of Mrs. Sarah Weiman and Mrs. Hilda Frahm, of Fort Madison, Iowa. Services at the Jack Lewis Home, 2100-02 Eutaw Place on Sunday precisely at 11 A.M. Interment in Hebrew Friendship Cemetery. [Kindly omit flowers.]

Solomon served as a Private First Class, U.S. Army during World War II. He resided in Baltimore, Maryland prior to the war. He enlisted in the Army on June 24, 1944 at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Office Clerk and also as Single, without dependents. He was married after his enlistment.
