Date of entry in original source: 1795 (5555)
Text:
In the village Pologi. Meyer Shimon's son 36yrs, his wife Sura Avrum's daughter 28yrs. Leasing a tavern and mills. Their children: Yos 7yrs, Shimon 21yrs, his wife Khana Leib's daughter 20yrs, their son Yos 4yrs. Meyer's son Benyamin 18yrs, his wife Brayna Lipa's daughter 16yrs.
Note: The ages in the Fifth Revision should be taken with a grain of salt. The older ages tend to be rounded (40, 45, 50), and only the younger ones are specific (7, 19, 21). It looks like the census officials didn't ask people for their age, but guessed based on their appearance. The 1816–18 census is probably more accurate in this regard.
