On Monday, October 21, 1996 LEAH NESSA FRIEDMAN (nee Hurwitz), beloved wife of Samuel H. Friedman, beloved mother of Sandra Ellen Pearlman of Baltimore, MD., Adrian Helene Kalikow of Chappaqua NY and Gail Rachelle Friedman of Boca Raton FL. Beloved mother-in-law of Kevin Kalikow and David Beard, devoted sister of Dr. Abraham B. Hurwitz, Rabbi Jacob Hurwitz and Sylvia Gimbel and the late Joseph Hurwitz, David I. Hurwitz and Bertha Papier, devoted sister-in-law of Dr. Harry S. Gimbel, Sarahlee Hurwitz, Maurice and Mary Friedman, Harold and Mildred Berele, David and Mollye Berelowitz, Norman and Beverly Schunick, loving grandmother of Reesa Lynn, Allison Anne Pearlman, Lauren, Jeffrey Louis and Adam Michael Kalikow, Eric Robert, Jordan Riley Beard, dear friend of Joseph Lee Krome, Sidney and Joyce Abramovitz. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services at Sol Levinson and Brothers Home, 8900 Reisterstown Road at Mt. Wilson Lane (1/2 mile north of beltway exit 20) on Wednesday, October 23 at 12 noon. Interment Kovna Congregation Cemetery, Rosedale.
