Text:
According to his 1926 New York death certificate, Pincus was the son of Pesach Nachimowitz and Edna Goldberg; his wife Chaya Eva is buried in the same cemetery; Pincus and Chaya arrived at Ellis Island with their daughter Dora 23 January 1906 and were detained for a short time for special inquiry; he was a jewelry polisher as recorded in census documents; the 1910 census records Chaya as having birthed 11 children with only one living; surname is also spelled Nochumowitz Gravesite Details During a visit in Oct 2020, the headstone was knocked down with other stones on top seemingly caused by the growth of a nearby tree; there appears to be a ledger marker lying on top of the burial location inscribed with the word 'Father'
