Morris Nachamson Funeral services for Morris Nachamson, 85, of Jacksonville, Fla., uncle of Mrs. E. J. Evans of Durham, were held this morning at Howerton-Bryan Funeral Home. Rabbi Pasash Krauss and the Rev. Benjamin Kaminetzy of Beth-El Synagogue conducted the services and interment was in the Durham Hebrew Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were members of the Durham ChevreKadishe. Mr. Nachamson died of a heart attack in a Jacksonville hospital Monday night. He had been ill for the past few days. He was born and reared in Lithuania. For many years he lived in Baltimore, later moving to Johannesburg, South Africa. In 1935 he moved back to this country and for the last two years he had lived in Jacksonville, Fla. Surviving are one brother, Solomon Nachamson of Johannesburg, South Africa; two sisters, Mrs. Mammie Adder of Burlington and Miss Lillie Nachamson of New York City; and 16 nieces and nephews.
