KAPLAN. On February 17, 1950, CELIA (nee Silverman), beloved wife of the late Bernard Kaplan; mother of Mrs H. L. Heller, of Stanford. Conn.: Capt Leonard Kaplan, USN (retired), of Radburn, N.J., and Miss Leba Kaplan, of Baltimore, and sister of Miss Zelda Silverman, of Baltimore, and Mr Isador Silverman, Wauchula. Fla. Services at the Jack Lewis Home, 2100-02 Eutaw place, on Sunday, precisely at 10:30 A.M. Interment in Oheb Sholem Congregation Cemetery.

Services at Sol Levinson & Bros. Home, 6010 Reisterstown road (at Pinkney), on Friday, July 22, at 2 P.M. (Enter parking courts at Pinkney road.) Interment In Oheb Shalom Congregation Cemetery, O'Donnell street.

Miss Leba Kaplan Funeral services for Miss Leba Kaplan, a retired Baltimore school teacher, will be held at 2 P.M. today at the Sol Levinson Brothers funeral establishment, 6010 Reisterslown road. Miss Kaplan., who died Wednesday en route to Sinai Hospital, following a heart attack, was a native of Weston. W.Va., but had lived in Baltimore for many years. She lived at 3608 Sequoia avenue. Miss Kaplan was graduated with the 1918 class from Goucher College. She taught history at Southern and Forest Park High Schools and at Garrison Junior High School before retiring from teaching in 1959. She taught Americanization classes to the foreign born, and conducted a Sunday school for children of her congregation at the Oheb Shalom Synagogue. She was a past president of the career group of the congregation. Miss Kaplan also belonged to Hadassah, and to the auxiliaries of Levindale and Sinai Hospital. Her other memberships included the College Club of Baltimore and the Goucher College Alumnae Association. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. H. L. Heller, of Stamford, Conn., and a brother, Capt. Leonard Kaplan, USN (Ret.), of Watchung, New Jersey.
