Mrs. Hannah Malenovsky Was Resident of Sixth Ward Last 52 Years Mrs. Hannah Malenovsky, one of the earliest Jewish settlers in the 6th Ward and a charter member of the Agudas Achim synagogue, 2nd St. near Tilghman, died at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at her home, 529 N. 2nd St, aged 79 years. She had been ill of complications a long time. Mrs. Malenovsky emigrated to this country from Resain Kovna, Russia, 52 years ago and settled in the 6th Ward. She rapidly became known throughout the city for her charity among depressed members of her faith, and the result was she endeared herself to Allentown Jewry, as well as members of other faiths. She was long a leader in the activities of the Agudas Achim congregation, and was a member of the Senior Hadassah and the Hebrew Sheltering society. Surviving are her husband, Elias Malenovsky; two sons and two daughters, Jacob H. Malonovsky, Mrs. A. Sheftl, both of Allentown; Abraham and Helen, at home; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Becker, Allentown. and Mrs. Lena Sil-berg, Milwaukee, Wis. Funeral services will be held at her home Sunday at 1:30 p. m. Interment in Laurel Hill cemetery.

Waste Firm Founder Dies at Home Jacob H. Malenovsky, of 2845 Chew St., Allentown, one of the organizers of the Sheftel & Malenovsky Textile Waste Co., Allentown, died yesterday at his home following a long illness, Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Elias and Hinda (Lebovsky) Malenovsky. He retired seven years ago. Malenovsky was a member of Temple Beth-El and several Jewish organizations. Surviving are his widow Lillian R. (Flax) Malenovsky; three daughters, Shirley wife of Bernhard Halperin Rose M., wife of Dr. Joseph Goldstone and Pearle E., wife of Harold Block, all of Allentown; a son, Robert at home; a brother, Abraham of Allentown; a sister, Sarah, wife of Abraham Sheftel of Allentown, and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Bachman Funeral Home, 1030 Walnut St., Allentown.
