Mrs. Sarah Sheftel, Executive's Widow Mrs. Sarah M. Sheftel, 75 of 622 N. 22nd St., Allentown, widow of Abraham A. Sheftel, died last night in Allentown Hospital. Her husband had been the founder and president of Sheftel & Malenovsky, a textile waste company of Allentown and Catasauqua. He died in April 1961. Mrs. Sheftel was a member of Temple Beth El. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Elias and Hinda Malenovsky. Surviving are two daughters, Beatrice, wife of Harold Shmookler and Reba, wife of Atty. E. G. Scoblionko, and two sons, Milton and Harold, all of Allentown; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will be at 1:30 p.m tomorrow in the Bachman Funeral Home, 1030 Walnut St., Allentown.

Harold Sheftel, 62, executive of Allentown textile waste firm Harold H. Sheftel 62, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Allentown, died Monday in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. He was the husband of Ruth (Movsovich) Sheftel. They were married 39 years last August. Sheftel was executive vice president of A. Sheftel & Sons Inc., a textile waste firm in Allentown, and employed within the company for the past 40 years. Sheftel and his brother Milton of Allentown were co-owners since 1961. They expanded the company's operations to South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and New York City. Born in Allentown, Sheftel was a son of the late Abraham and Sarah (Malenovsky) ShefteL He was a director for the Jewish Federation of Allentown, the Jewish Community Center, Allentown, and the Berkleigh Country Club. He was a member of Temple Beth EL Allentown. Sheftel was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife and brother; sons, Larrie, Elliot and Michael, and sisters, Beatrice, wife of Harold Shmookler, and Mrs. Reba Scoblionko, all of Allentown, and six grandchildren. Graveside services: 2 p.m. today, Beth El Memorial Park, South Whitehall Township. Arrangements, Bachman Funeral Home, Allentown.
