Anne Yablick Services were held Tuesday for Anne L. Yablick of Rahway Road. Mrs. Yablick died December 2 in Montefiore Hospital, New York City. Born in Newark, Mrs. Yablick lived in Maplewood before moving to the township in 1963. She was graduated from New York University with a bachelor's degree in English. Mrs. Yablick was an elementary school teacher for 25 years at the Sussex Avenue School, Newark. She was a member of the Newark Teachers' Union, the Parent-Teacher Association of Sussex Avenue and the New Jersey and National Education associations. She was a reporter for the Newark Evening News for several years during the late 1940s. She also was the assistant editor for the North Hills West Chapter of the National Council of Jewish Women in Essex County. Surviving are her husband, Leonard J.; three daughters, Karyn Wanner of Fountain Valley, Kim Jacobson of London, England and Lauri of St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Jon of Miami, Fla. and Gary of Brookline, Mass. and her mother, Frances Lerner of the township.
