SEGAL Harriet (nee Leshay), age 85, Born March 17, 1922. Longtime resident of Teaneck, she peacefully entered into rest on May 15, 2007. Funeral services on Friday, May 18 at 11:30 AM at Eden Memorial Chapel, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ. Beloved wife of Clifford Segal for 52 years, Harriet is survived by her daughter Ellen and her son Mitch and his wife Maria and three grandchildren, Phillip, Andrew and Matthew. A member of the Greatest Generation, Harriet graduated from Brooklyn College and worked during WW II at the Office of War Information. She met and married the love of her life, Clifford Segal in 1944, a veteran of three WW II invasions. In 1951, Harriet and Cliff moved to Tea-neck, where they raised their children and resided for over 55 years. Predeceased by her beloved Cliff in 1996. Harriet is fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. Her wisdom, grace, compassion and strength of character will always be cherished. Harriet's optimism and sense of humor enriched all who knew and loved her. Her family and friends will miss her deeply.
