Myerberg, Had Chain Of Stores Funeral services for Samuel Myerberg, retired partner in a chain of shoe repairing stores, were held Monday. Mr. Myerberg, 86, lived at 3601 Clarks lane. He had died earlier Monday at Union Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He had retired eight years ago as a partner in the Century Factory Shoe Repairing Stores, which he started 70 years ago with his late brother, Isadore Myerberg. The firm was a pioneer in mail order shoe repairs. A native of Poland, he came to Baltimore shortly before the founding of the business. His wife, the former Rae Smulovitz, died five weeks ago, He is survived by a daughter, Beatrice Nathanson, of Baltimore; a sister, Rose Winner of Baltimore, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
