Abraham Buckner Charges Harry Sherman Won Wife's Love.
Suit to recover $20,000 for the alleged alienation of his wife's affections by Harry Sherman, of 408 Eighth street southeast, was instituted in the District Supreme Court yesterday by Abraham Buckner. Buckner and his wife were married on March 1, 1902, in Baltimore, Md.
The allegation of Buckner is that "on or about April 28, 1918, and at times between that date and June 29, 1918, the defendant wickedly and injuriously besought, persuaded and allured the said Eva Buckner to desert and abandon and drive away from the home the said plaintiff, thereby the affections of Eva Buckner for the said plaintiff were alienated." His attorneys are John P. Mullen and Charles H. Gibson. |
