Source	Wedding/ Engagement Announcements Citation details: The Evening Star (Washington, DC) Date of entry in original source: January 8, 1946 (Shevat 6, 5706) Text: Mr. and Mrs. John Elias Blanco of Santa Clara, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Tina Rebecca Blanco, to Mr. Sigmund Danzansky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Danzansky of this city. The bride-elect attended San Jose State College and is a member of the Alpha Phi Rho Sorority. She was a member of the San Jose Community Playhouse, which group, under the direction of Tully Knowles, Jr., entertained at the various camps and hospitals in California prior to the establishment of the USO. She recently was discharged from the Naval Reserve, after 32 months’ service. Mr. Danzansky attended the University of Virginia, is a member of the Phi Alpha Fraternity and is one of its former national presidents. He is a graduate of George Washington University and is past president of the Philosophical Society. He recently was discharged from the Army after 29 months’ service. The wedding will take place January 23 at 5:30 o'clock at the Shoreham Hotel.
