Mrs. Bessie Cohen
A double funeral service for Mrs. Ida Block, widow of Israel Block, and her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Cohen, both of 2437 Callow avenue, will be held at 1.30 P.M. today at a funeral parlor in the 1100 block West North avenue.
Mrs. Block, who was 76 years old, died yesterday morning at her home. Her daughter, 50 years old, died a few hours later at the Union Memorial Hospital.
The mother will be buried at the Herring Run Cemetery and the daughter at the Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery, Belair road.
Mrs. Block is survived by five sons, Morris, Joseph, Simon, Herman and Edward Block, all of Baltimore, and one daughter, Mrs. Henry Sher, of Philadelphia.
In addition to her brothers and sisters, Mrs. Cohen is survived by her husband, Lee Cohen. |
