Robert Ellis Jacobs, 60, loving husband, father and grandfather, of the 1000 block of Smoke Tree Lane, died April 18, 2004, at Virginia Beach General Hospital. He was born Oct. 29, 1943, in Seattle, Wash. Survivors include his wife, Maureen Jacobs; two daughters, Lisa and her husband Dr. Kevin Fleishman of Fort Myers, Fla. and Jennifer and her husband Richard Olson of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Hailey, Jared Fleishman and Jacob Olson; his sister-in-law, Linda and her husband Dr. Norman Weiss of Virginia Beach; his aunt, Selma and her husband Dr. Leon Leach; his mother and father, Mary and Leroy Jacobs of Norfolk; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. His kind and loving ways will be remembered by all. A graveside service will be conducted today at 4 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk by Rabbi Israel Zoberman. The family will be at the home at 1031 Smoke Tree Lane, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. H.D.
