Frederick Leach, was a veterinarian in Virginia Beach VIRGINIA BEACH - Dr. Frederick Ellis Leach, 35, of 4405 Leatherwood Drive, a Virginia Beach veterinarian, died Saturday in a Boston hospital. He was a native of Norfolk and the husband of Nancy Brenner Leach. He was a grauate of the Ohio State Univeristy School of Veterinary Medicine and was a member of Temple Israel and Congregation B'nai Israel. Other survivors include his parents, Dr. Leon A. and Selma J. Leach, a son, Seth Jared Leach of Virginia Beach, a sister, Sharon F. Leach of Norfolk, and a brother, Harvey I. Leach, also of Norfolk. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at graveside in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbis Saul Z. Hyman and Israel Bornstein and Cantor Isaac Danker. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements. The family will be at his home. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Society.
