Moe Jacobs Dies At Home at 39 Moe Jacobs, 39, proprietor of the Randolph Pharmacy, Fourteenth and Randolph streets N.W., died today at his home, 4221 Sixteenth street N.W., after a long illness. Mr. Jacobs had been in business here many years. Born in Spartanburg, S. C., he was a son of Joseph Jacobs and Mrs. Fanny Jacobs, who now live at Long Beach, Calif. He was graduated in pharmacv at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He was a member of the Samuel Gompers Lodge of Masons here. Besides his parents he leaves his wife, Mrs. Anna Jacobs; a son. Irwin Seymour Jacobs; three brothers, Al Jacobs, this city; Jack and Oscar Jacobs, Long Beach, and a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Sarvos, Long Beach. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Danzansky's temporary funeral parlors in the Chambers funeral home, 1400 Chapin street N.W. Burial will be in the Washington Hebrew Congregation Cemetery. Masonic rites will be held.

RITES ARE HELD FOR DR. JACOBS Final rites for Dr. Moe Jacobs, prominent Washington pharmacist and one of the leading bridge experts in the city, were held this morning at the W.W. Chambers funeral establishment, 1400 Chapin St. N.W. Burial was in Arlington National Cemetery. Dr. Jacobs, who died suddenly last night of a heart attack, was a native of Spartanburg S.C. He was educated in the public schools and graduated in pharmacy from the Medical College of Virginia. One of the city’s leading bridge players, he had participated in many tournaments both in the East and in California. He was a member of Gompers Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite of the Southern Jurisdiction, the Mystic Shrine, Jewish War Veterans, Fort Stevens Post of the American Legion and the Pharmaceutical Society. His widow, Mrs. Anna Jacobs; a son, Irwin; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jacobs; a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Sarvos; two brothers, Jack and Oscar, all of Long Beach, Calif., and a third brother, Al Jacobs, of Washington, survive.
