SACHS, HERMAN ISRAEL. On Monday, December 8, 1952, at his residence, 6040 14th st .n.w., HERMAN ISRAEL SACHS, beloved husband of Anna Sachs and devoted father of Miss Reva and Sigmund Sachs. He also is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Sidney Ehrlich, Mrs. Jerome Glickman of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Irving Wolf of Baltimore, Md., Samuel Levin of Wilmington, Del., Mrs.Mack Blum, and two grandchildren. Funeral services at the Bernard Danzansky & Son Funeral Home. 3501 14th st. n.w.. on Wednesday, December 10, at 12:30 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery. Please omit flowers.

HERMAN SACHS FUNERAL RITES SLATED TODAY Funeral services for Herman Israel Sachs, 53, general manager of the Federal Cab company, will be held at 12:30 p.m. today in the Danzansky funeral home with burial in Arlington National cemetery. Mr. Sachs died of a heart attack Monday at his home, 6040 Fourteenth St. NW. Born and raised in Baltimore, he came to the District abdut 25 years ago. He was an Army veteran, having served in the Mexican border campaign and in France during World War I. He was a member of Post No. 58, Jewish War Veterans; Colley McCullough Post No. 22, American Legion, and Company I, Post No. 63, Twenty-ninth Division association. He also was active in civil defense work here and was a member of the Metropolitan Police reserve corps. Surviving are his wife, Anna Jay; two children Reva and Sigmund Sachs both of Baltimore; five sisters, Mrs. Sidney Ehrlich and Mrs. Mack Blum, both of this area, Mrs. Jerome Glickman and Mrs. Irving Wolf, both of Baltimore, and Mrs. Samuel Levin, of Wilmington, Del., and two grandchildren.
